Inspiration

European Microfinance Network
With the valuable support of the European Commission and the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), European Microfinance Network (EMN) was launched by its founder (aDie - France, NEF - Britain and EVERS & JUNG - Germany) in April 2003. EMN is a non governmental organization ( "Association loi 1901, under French legislation) and was officially registered in Paris on 23 May 2003.
The creation of this network has proven to be an important step in promoting microfinance in the European Union, to assist in the fight against unemploy-ment and social exclusion through the development of micro enterprises.
EMN includes both basic and added members, all organizations participating in the micro-finance issues. The network members are either full members, associate members or corporate members.
